Rachael Ray Nutrish Burger Bites are intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only. Please watch your dog to ensure Nutrish Burger Bites are thoroughly chewed before swallowing. Great for Dog with Severe Allergies
I have a 7 year old Bulldog who has severe allergies, and also suffers Bladder Stones. She is on monthly medication, and has to have special order prescription food. Of all things, one of her allergies is to Chicken – which is in almost every dog food and treat out there. I have spent hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (she is 7!) buying this treat and that treat, thinking it had no chicken in it….and it did. I bought Rachael Rays dog food, but there were no treats back then. I was just looking around and saw the treats and decided to give them a try. I bought 1 bag of each treat.
I love that you can read the ingredient list in under a minute ~ and without having the need for a dictionary. I love that Sophie can eat these without fear of an allergic reaction. I especially love it because we were buying steaks, cooking them and cutting them into bite size pieces for her treats, or making meatballs for her. She will still have her own jar of peanut butter because she loves it so much – but we will be getting more of Rachael Rays treats for her. I like that a portion of the proceeds go to help animals in need.
I would recommend these treats to anyone with a dog…but especially to those who have an animal with allergies.

My Dog Loves These
I have an OLD (really old) very small dog. Most dog treats are hard and all about helping clean teeth which is great if your dog has teeth. After squeezing (yes, I really did) many bagged treats in store, I found these RR meatballs that are soft and easy to breakup into my dog’s bowl which translates to easy for her to chew. When my local store stopped carrying this flavor, Amazon to the rescue. I think they are a bit pricey but what we pet owners won’t do for our babies, right? Caution: I buy the beef ones, not sure if other flavors are as soft. Note: Amazon’s review asked me to rate flavor – seriously, these are dog treats. I love my dog but I’m not tasting her food, UGH. However, I rated flavor as 5 stars because my dog eats them up so the flavor must be good.

Miracle for a sickly old dog
My Lab used to eat anything, but she is in her golden years (more like golden months if I’m being realistic), and now she won’t touch dog food. Luckily, she snarfs these down as fast as I’ll give them to her! Of course treats aren’t intended to be a main source of calories, but for a sick dog who won’t eat regular food, these are a miracle. I can sometimes squirt some high-calorie nutritional gel supplement onto them and she’ll still eat them in spite of not much liking the gel.
